This book is a complex study of what guilt andinnocence mean, as well as taking responsibility. It also shows how people can be manipulated to vote for others and keep them in power and money, while suffering privations. I found this book very educational—it captured the complex political history of 20th and 21st century South Africa in a succinct and understandable way. It is a resource I would consider using or giving to people who want to understand what has been happening here over the last few decades because
it is fair and not overly idealistic. It shows the complexity of the situation in an entertaining way.
